Additional benefits: The employer offers accommodation in an apartment (for which the employee has to pay utility bills) and free meals in the restaurant. It is possible to work overtime.
The job offer is for both chefs (work experience 2 years) and head chefs (work experience 5+ years).
Tasks
Tasks for chefs:
- Ability to make soups and salads of all the most common types of sushi (maki, nigri, gunkan, …) and fillet fish.
- Ability to clean up after yourself.
- Make your own suggestions for work and menu.
Tasks for head chefs:
- Evaluate and replenish your inventory.
- Supervise the work of chefs and assistant chefs and assist and advise if necessary.
- Create and adjust menus.
- Ensure high quality food preparation.
- Carrying out inventories.
- Organizing training for new kitchen staff.
Requirements
Requirements for chefs:
- At least 2 years of continuous work experience as a sushi chef or professional education.
- Have a passport of a member state of the European Union.
- Willingness to work in northern Norway.
Requirements for head chefs:
- At least 5 years of continuous work experience as a sushi and / or A la Carte chef.
- Have a passport of a member state of the European Union.
- Proficiency in Russian is not required, but is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English at a communicative level.
- Willingness to work in northern Norway.
Comes in handy
- cart la carte food and menu experience.
- Previous work experience in Norway.
